Pre-WAAC-2023 Event hosted by IBRAD, Kolkata, India.

Professor S. B. Roy, Chairman and Founder of IBRAD, Kolkata, along with his esteemed board, generously hosted the Pre-Congress of the World Applied Anthropology Congress 2023 on the 10th and 11th of March, 2023, at the IBRAD campus in Kolkata. The event was meticulously organized, featuring excellent speakers and presenters of both national and international repute.

This initiative marked a significant milestone for the Anthropological Association for Humankind (AAfH), providing an invaluable experience for all participants. IBRAD not only financed the event but also provided the venue, extended invitations to distinguished guests, and took care of food and accommodation for all participants, including the President and Secretary of AAfH.

This collaboration highlights the commitment and professionalism of the Indian Biodiversity Research and Development (IBRAD), a nationally renowned NGO based in Kolkata with a five-acre campus. The successful execution of this event is a testament to the potential for future partnerships and a welcoming sign of fruitful collaboration with such a reputed institution.
